Music — Melis Aker

Since 2014, Melis has performed in various venues ranging from Rockwood Music Hall, Pianos, Pete’s Candy Store, Cafe Vinilo, The Bitter End, to Shapeshifter Lab. She frequently records at Studio 42 BK headed by Alessio Romano, and has previously released an EP “Dirt“ via Young Pals Music (broadcast on MaxFm), a single “The Little Prince,“ a collaborative EP “The Other Side“ with TLK, and most recently, a four-part, seasonal EP cycle with acoustic songs: “Fall Sessions,“ “Winter Sessions,“ “Spring Sessions,“ and “Summer Sessions.“ Her song “The Unknowing“ made it to the 2017 NPR Tiny Desk contest’s final highlights reel.
